I'm sorry if this has been up before, but I'm just curious as I tried 10.4.4 a while ago on my computer and it ran fine (actually it still does, although I mostly use Ubuntu or XP right now).
When I did install 10.4.4, I got into a lot of driver-related problems, and problems with non-supported hardware, like the graphics card, the bluetooth and WLAN, etc.

What I was thinking is, now that the Xeon macs are here, will this mean more OSX drivers from independent vendors? I mean, it must be possible to plug any graphics, network or wlan card into them, physically.

I will get the parts for my new computer next week and I'm thinking about trying OSX on it, hence the question.

EDIT: Spelling.
