Hello everyone. Im new to the OSX86 project here. My current PC is getting long in the tooth and its time to build a new one. And I had to sell my old iMac for a move out of state, so now Im Mac-less. I have been watching the forums and the wiki HCL and Im going to try a build myself.. this is what I spec'd out so far...

two questions though.
1st does anyone have any experience with this chipset (G965) and getting everything to work on it?
2nd once the system is up and running is installing the normal apps just like normal or will it be a constant struggle?

OK scrap the 965 board.. after reading another post about building a Core 2 system I have decided against it. The 975 is a little pricey for me. ANy other suggestions?
