I've purchased QuickTime Pro 7 hoping it will do this task, but I think I made a big mistake.

I would like to create video recording directly the screen activity.

Is there any application that do this simple task?

I've used iShowU and it works pretty well. You have to have a fast system for capturing and converting. The trick is to not have a very large capture area or set the frame rate to 15 or lower..
