Hi Everyone,
First thing, i'm french so i might not write in a perfect english, sorry for that...
Second one, As i wrote in the title, i've got some problems with the battery of my notebook, it simply does'n show. I tried using the hacked powermanagment.bundle from this thread:
http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...=powermanagment and this other one:
http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...=powermanagment, and it didn't work.
I've searched a lot in some other topics, but didn't find anything.
The battery status indicates calculating, and system informations reports: no battery installed.
I know some people have the same problem, and i wish someone could find a solution, this would turn my laptop into a fully working centrino macbook pro!
Thanks in advance

So, you've got the same as i do, but I'd like to find a way to see when he's gonna stop... I know i have about 2 hours (which is quite a shame, in windows i have (sorry had

) 4 and it's because of full speed graphic card in mac os x but no way of underclocking), but i'd like to see my battery recognized by the system, which is not the case for me, and i'm sure for you niether, look in your system preferences.

Did you remember to fix permissions (from Disk Utility) after installing the PowerManagement.bundle?
I have Acer Aspire 3624 and it worked just fine.

Yes i did,i think i've tryed everything wich is on the forums, but no way.
I've heard that it can be an ACPI problem, wich is not well implemented in some ACER laptops, maybe you've got a good one, you're lucky!
And when i look at your signature, i can see you're very lucky, everything is working...

OK so it seems that there is no possibility... I was fed up with rying to fins solutions for enabling QE, bla bla, battery, I sold my aspire, and i bought a macbook... it's so fast... and about 100 euros more than this stupid ugly acer and with some tricks enabled, you can get about 5hours on battery, with no noise at all...
I definatly think that for laptops, buying a macbook is the right solution, but for desktop computers, buying a 2000 and more euros for a computer you can afford at about 300, keep on using this hackintoshes versions!!!
Thanks everyone for developping these tricks, it helped me trashing this stupid windows system!
