im trying to use SB Live! 24 bit external but I dont get any sound I read it was just plug and play and it would work but it doesnt... i have creative lab intrigue speakers... do i have to have both the volume control on those speakers and the USB sound card on? i have the green cord i usually plug into my SB Audigy 2 plugged into the line-in input on the external sound card... still, no sound with music or anything!

actually i got my sound to work but only through headphones... no sound comes out of my speakers... wtf...

every time i turn on my volume control on my creative labs speakers and unplug my head phones=no sound then if i turn off the volume control plug my headphones back into my external USB sound device=no sound, have to reboot back with headphones again.

The USB Patch is on the Jas 10.4.6 Install-DVD. Dont know if i can share it..

Perhaps you should try LINE-OUT for speakers... lol
