Hi. I have 10.4.6 system and Abit kv8-pro. In compatibility list is said that i have to use kext from 10.4.3 (IOUSBFAMILY.kext for instance). But when I use it and replace the existing one, the computer doesn't boot. The same happened when i tried to get radeon 9800 working. I followed the instuctions in one tutorial and it was also said that i need to use kext from 10.4.3. And the same happaned. So what am i doing wrong. Thanx

Did you delete the /System/Library/Extensions.mkext file and the /System/Library/Extensions.kextcache file?
And did you repair permissions?

Yes I did. I think that when boot halts i notice sth like "dependency error". i realy don't know why this happened when i use kexts from 10.4.3. Tnx for help.
