According to the
wiki the Intel GUXL motherboard is only "Almost Full Working".
Why is that? I've read quite a few success stories in this forum with this motherboard (the non-K one). Isn't it identical to the GEVL except that it is in microATX format instead? The GEVL is in the "Full working" list.
What makes the GUXL not work "fully"?

I guess the wiki isn't perfect, that's what happens sometimes in a collaborative, volunteer effort.
The 915GAVL is on the fully working list with a note that sound input doesn't work, the GEVL has the same, but without that note, and the GUXL is listed as almost fully working but with everything listed as working OK.. go figure...
The audio input issue on the GAVL is one of my pet annoyances, which I am no closer to solving, but I believe it affects all realtec ALC860 equipped boards, which means that the GEVL & GUXL would also suffer from no sound input, so this may be it.

Sorry yes, I should have mention that I know there are issues with sound on the ALC860, but that would also affect all the other Intel D915G boards. What confused me was why 3 of them are in Fully Working, and one isn't.
