Hello,

i have a laptop with an internal Realtek ALC658 sound card but system info on mac os X tell me: No Information Found.

i tried using kext from within mac os, the one from darwin 8.0.1, the one from 10.4.1 (i'll try the 10.4.3 soon), the one found somewhere on this forum and still no change :-/

i also checked using ubuntu and i got this info about the sound car:
Intel 82801DB-ICH4D with ALC658D at 0xffe7fc00 irq 185

i'm wondering if i should edit the info.plist in the ac97intelich kext to put 0xffe7fc00 as IO match? should this work? (i can't try for now i'm not with the laptop )

i just tried the 10.4.3 kext and... it "works"

works got quotes because i got a strange problem (i got the same under BeOS), the sound is activated (i can use iTunes, etc) but i got sound output only on the headphone output, not on integrated speakers

is there a way to fix this?
