Does anyone have a laptop where Cardbus/pcmcia card work, if so can you please reply with model name and vendor and product id.

I have Acer Aspire 1525 ven 104C dev AC8E does not work for me.

Yes, pcmcia in my laptop works in 10.4.5, no need to modify kexts. See Asus A6Va in HCL wiki.

PCMCIA in my Notebook works out-of-the-box, too.

I have the same TI CArdbus.

Haven't succeeded to make it work.

PCI\VEN_104C&DEV_AC8E&SUBSYS_81F1104D&REV_00\4&AD1B67F&0&48F0

I have read some posts that you could put in the iopccardfamily.kext from 10.4.5 and it works, as for 10.4.8 there's an error on the DVD and you can't extract this kext even with pacifist.

Found any solution?
