Hello. I'm looking for graphic card whitch will work with my hackintosh and cast about 50$-60$. i want qe & ci enabled and no artifacts.
munky
ok here's the scoop:

fully supported, QE, CI, OpenGL, res changing, no artefacts: GMA900/950, only available built-in to Intel 900-series mobos

QE, CI, fixed resolutions/refresh rates, minor artefacts: ATI radeon 9550 and above, X1000 series, some X800/X600s (afaik)

no QE, CI but ability to change res/refresh rates: some nVidia cards

ordinarily, i'd have told you to use the search and check the HCL lists on the wiki, but i must be in a good mood today.

funny thing i was using the search and i found this post which gave me a great answer so thanks for replying to whoever asked this question.

I sometimes spend hours looking throught the forums and it is not always as easy to find stuff as people say it is. I have a 9250 ati card but no quartz i removed it and used the 845 inbuilt graphics and it worked perfect out of the box with 10.4.5 and modding the com.apple.boot.plist but neither of these had QE working so off to the store with your advice to find an ATI 9550

cheers
