apple web sites does say thay updated the on borad intel driver.

I am hoping nvidia is a yes, after all i am running a 7800GT, be a shame if i have to wait longer sad.gif

I can't see why they would since none of there current intel macs have nvidia cards in, would be a waste of there time.

ive looked into the bundle and seems there r new nvidia drivers some bundle takes about 3Mo!

id like to see nvidia drivers in .4.6 but chances are we wont get a crack at them since we need a 10.4.6 kernel to load them... gotta wait for the MAN to once again show apple who's boss smile.gif

I'm curious why, with np_ doing some sweet work, that anyone is expecting a working nVidia kext from Apple.

There is no reason for them to support our nvidia cards, since an efi driver wont work with our cards anyways.

But being the hypocrit that I am, if the kexts in the update got me qe/ci right away I'd use them too (at least until np_'s caught up).

well, I expect the Apple drivers to be better integrated with the OS, as well as perform at higher speeds.

And incase anyone cares, Ichecked the files size on the kext from 10.4.6, they are exaclty the same sizes the have been since 10.4.1. No dice : (
