I got a Macbook Pro recently and wanted to emulate Classic, so I downloaded Basilisk II.
I read that to run it in 256 color mode you use 8 bit depth; I want to run in 256 color mode so I can run old Mac games. smile.gif

But when I go to run it with 8 bit depth(Preferences screen, and window mode), it hangs on the "Welcome to Macintosh" screen. Any suggestions?

What Mac OS version are you using in emulation? Last time I checked, Basilisk can run OS 8 but not 9.
