I want to build mac for my wife. I purchased sonata III case with 500W PSU. Now I am struggling to find a list of components which will work with least effort. Please suggest components which works flawlessly to make mac. My budget is upto 500 USD.

One way or another, you will need to patch some things. Get a GA-EP45-DS3R, an NVidia 8800 GT, a SATA DVD drive, and a SATA hard drive. Get any sort of Core 2 Intel CPU. Other than that, you're good.
