hey everyone,

I have a smartphone, but it uses windows mobile (which is censored2.gif up)
Would it be in any way possible to try and install osx on these devices ? Apple did it with the iPhone ?
I'm not asking anyone to do it for me, but I would just like to know if it would be possible...

I would really love that biggrin.gif
just imagine, osx in your pocket tongue.gif

thanks in advance,

I doubt it. You'd have to run the Iphone version, which is more hardware limited than OSX in general (its only made for one platform). You'd also need the basic features you'd find on the iphone, like the touch screen.

if you have something very similar to an iphone(very!), you might be able to install iPhone OS, but I don't know how you'd go about installing it anyways (and your hardware probably isn't compatible anyways). There are, though, some ULPC's that have been known to run OSX (I can't find link, but that pc with the slide out keyboard (like a big phone), I forget name (I don't know if it mean anything to you), but it can run osx.

yeah, thanks for the response !
By reading your answers, I just decided to sell the smartphone, and get an iPhone, as I was planning from the beginning smile.gif

But still thanks a lot !!!!
