Hi all, I am planning to make me a small Hackintosh. In big interest for me is Xcode, FrontRow, iPhoto and Parallels (but I assume it depends). So here's what I want me to by:
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H
CPU: AMD Athlon X2 4850e, 2x 2.50GHz, boxed
Video: Point of View GeForce 7200 GS, 256MB DDR2, VGA, DVI, TV-out, PCIe (VGA150832)
RAM: 2x Seitec DIMM 1024MB PC2-6400U CL5 (DDR2-800)
Case: Linkworld LC437-04 C2228, (2321) 400W
229 Euro(s) = 297.364 US Dollar(s)
So ... do you think everything will run? I am planning iDeneb 1.3 or iAtkos 10.5.4

For better compatibility I would use an Intel processor instead of AMD, with an Intel processor I was able to install using an unmodified retail version of Leopard (you can't do that with AMD), I also have less chance of breaking my install with future updates using Software Update.
A better graphics card and larger power supply would help too.
I haven't been able to get TV-Out to work well with my GeForce card. I am able to get TV-Out, but I have to modify some files first, then I have to modify the same files again when I don't want to use TV-Out. I still haven't been able to get TV-Out to work with a monitor also connected at the same time.

The idea is, that the computer should be as inexpensive, as possible, but still it should run the programs I wrote. Yeah, I know good running programs for less money is a no-no, but I am just a poor student you know
