i go with iDeneb 10.5.5 and everything works perfect, i disabled the sleep function, but the CD/DVD drive still acts strange, after some 20 minutes of inactivity if the media is in there's no chance the drive will eject, neither by button or by the os. i have the NEC ide/ata DVD burner. after the drive anoyances the system become partialy "busy" because of trying to eject the cd, then it won't restart and the usage becomes "limited"

i have another DVD burner in reserve stock -> Plextor PX740A
should i go with this a little oldy one better ? or should i just
go for sata one ? will this solve this issues ?

any help would be appreciated
