hello everyone,
this is my first post here but I have been reading a lot on this forum.
I recently proceed again to the installation of OS x kalyway on my pc (alienware).
I have been looking since quite a while to succeed to make the two sli cards working on this computer or at least to be recognised.
I used EFI studio to edit my com.apple.boot.plist with the card 8800GT (I read somewhere that this card is supposed to be compatible with the 9800Gt that I have on my computer).
Well anyway after installing this, I managed to bootup and to see that the card is now detected with 512 MO Vram and as 8800GT.
I can now select the screen resolution but the problem is : I can't see any drop down menu.
They actually appear completely white. The content appear for few nanoseconds and despear. Which is pretty annoying :s
Does anymone had the same issue that I currently have ?

I am using the kalyway 10.5.2, and I only used the efi studio to modify my .plist

your help will be really welcome smile.gif

thank you smile.gif wink.gif

You really need to have the Leopard Graphic Update installed to get a fully working 8800GT this contains the files that were updated with support for that card so you want to find and install that.

Try this http://aquamac.proboards106.com/index.cgi?...&thread=528

I just finished my install process and have the same issue. I'm running a XFX 9800gt.

I"ll try the aqua link above.... just wanted to note in case someone else has same card.
