I have 2 dvd drives in my system, one is my dvd-rw and one is a dvd player

I can get the system to find both of them , and I can use the dvdrw just fine including the eject button on the taskbar.

Now if I stick a dvd into my dvd rom it most of the time will show up on my desktop, but I can't ever use the taskbar eject button, and I can use it in a VM (vmfusion or paralles)

is there anyway that i can get both to work?
