I got the latest unstable build of Q from http://www.kberg.ch/q/ and it starts up fine and I am able to configure a Guest OS. But when I try to start it the console flashes up for a split second and then thats it.

Anyone had success with this yet?

Yes i am using it, with win2k no problems.
What hardware options did you choose for the guest os.

x86 PC
256megs ram
cirrus or vga, no luck with either
no sound
network on

ive tried all manners of images and cds and stuff. doesnt seem to matter.

how did you do your install? from a real cd or from a cd image? or a cd iso?

I installed from a iso, what display type do you have in preferences..

Found the big thread in the subforum which i missed initial. Saw the tip to change display type just like you mentioned, XP install comenced
