My friend somehow on her powerbook, got the butt end off the headphone stuck in the jack. and its broken, off, there is NO way to get it out, which is FINE, please dont offer me a solution on how i may be able to get it out. The question is, is there anyway to disable to headphone jack so that the sound will now come out of the speakers with the broken peice still in there? any help will be greatly appriciated

Download and install a little app named SoundSource. It let's you decide where to output the sound from.
Not sure if it will work in your situation, but it's worth a try.

I would definitely recommend getting that thing out of there, though.
