Hello,
I am running a machine with a 2.4 ghz core 2 quad cpu and a 8800 GT with 512 megabytes of video ram. I think this should be more than enough to run 1080p blu-ray mkv rips, yet choppy as hell. Any fixes or patches I may need? When I click on about this mac it says I have an unidentified cpu, but still says 2.4 ghz.

EDIT: Also running on a 42 inch screen at 1920x1080 in overscan

Fixed using Switchres X and xbmc instead of boxee. Soon to follow is a full mac htpc tutorial by me!
