Hey guys,

I was just thinking about buying a refurbished macbook from MacMall.com....just wanted to know if this is a good idea, and if anyone has dealt with them before on buying refurbished product. Also keep in mind that it is a rebated item, are they usually good with their rebates??

In addition, if i do go through with that, am i eligible to buy applecare for said macbook that i bought refurbished NOT through apple themselves.

THanks in advance, excuse my nOObness,

Justin

Macmall seems like a good vendor, although I haven't bought from them myself. Refurbished macs are awesome, just like new. (warranty + all)

Ask them. I believe you can get Applecare with official Apple refurbished macs. Did you look at the Apple refurbished store?
