Check my sig for my specs smile.gif

After spending close to a week getting OSX to install it's finally up and running aside from one thing; my PCIex Geforce 7300 LE won't install. I tried both NVinject and NVkrush but as soon as I install them, even before reboot, I get the "you must hold the power button to power off your system" message.

I can't understand why it's doing this, anyone have any ideas? sad.gif

Have you search for working solutions for your card?

I have an Nvidia 6150LE that I cannot get QE/CI working on but got my resolution fixed. NVinject also caused my system to hang and reboot. Try some searching and possibly natit.

I just fixed it but I have no idea how.

I updated to 10.5.5, had to go into safe mode then rebooted and all was well. Then I installed Zeph's NVIDIA Universal installer, no dice.

Then I tried to follow the guide to manually enter the device ID etc in the sticky above and that really screwed things up. It stopped booting.

I had a Zephyroth 10.5.2 laying around so though sod it, at least the video driver might work. I installed just the video drivers and BAM. I'm back in and running QE/CI.

I imagine the injector on the Zeph 10.5.2 DVD did it, but in that mess it's anyone's guess. I know one thing.. I'm making a backup of this install right now!!!

Just to clarify, you weren't using them both at the SAME TIME, right?

No. happy.gif

I had to pretty much reinstall after each "experiment".
