Hi Ive got a P5W DH Deluxe motherboard and was wondering if it is capable of running 8Gb of OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 Dual Channel Vista Gold Series DDR2 (OCZ2G8004GK) Ram as i need it for Logic

Has anyone got 8GB running on a P5W DH Deluxe

I have been offered a Asus P5K Deluxe/WiFi-AP would this be a better choice of board to run that amount or ram or would the P5W DH Deluxe be ok???

I use the P5w dh deluxe with 8 GIGA ram without no problems, but i doubt that logic will use more then 3,2 GB ram

unless will be a big update for the most awaiting OS...Leopard Snow...

Usually i use IAC midi for run some standalone instruments like some ewql and reason for use the 8 giga ram

But if logic still in 32 bit it will never use more then the usual 3.2 GB!

I use an P5K Deluxe/WiFi-AP with 8GB of ram without any problem, logic and live (rewire) but is like macita says... only 3.2 are correcty used...

Nothing special, just used the "wiki" instructions for this board... no problems at all, i have 4x 2GB 800mhz kingston, a low price ram... i think your will rock

JUST USE WHAT YOUR MOTHERBOARD LIKE...

i use CORSAIR DDR2 PC6400 XMS series
