I have an HP Pavilion dv6607. It has an AMD Athlo x2 64 processor. I downloaded Iatkos v4a, for amd processors. It loads fine, however when I go to disk utility, there are no partitions shown, or hard drives either for me to format to mac format to continue the installation.
I have a wdc wd1600bevs-60rst0 hard drive within the laptop. I have 2 partitions, one partition with xp that is 40 gigs, and another partition that is 109 gigs (meant for mac). I tried to format it to fat32, ntfs, and even "none" types of partitions, and none are recognized. I also did the chain0 dual boot successfully.
The disk utility doesnt even recognize the xp partition.
Is there a way I can patch the iatkos v4a with a sata driver (kext), or is it hopeless for this laptop?
