Hi there,

I need a little help in cloning my OS X ideneb 10.5.5 from running System to another HDD.

I tried several ways without having success. Read a lot of Postings here, tried the last to days to get a working clone.

NO SUCCESS...

First I used Hatchery, CCC and SuperDuper to clone the HDD and tried to reinstall EFI after the restore.
Booting not possible! Im mot 100% sure how to handle the bootloader install with the OSX86 Tools.

Second I Installed a fresh (clean) OS X from ideneb 10.5.5 DVD, the restored the files from my Timemachine HDD to clone HDD.
Booting not possible! Tried to set the partition active with FDISK util. Booting not possible.

If someone could tell me a simple way to clone a complete running OS X wirth its software, that would be nice.
I would like to have a disk-duplicate if something happens to my working OS X.
And for sure that HDD has to be bootable.

So if anyone can give me a little tutorial how to do... great!

If heard about Hatchery Clonetool Version II which is coming up sone and may be possible to clone Leopard!?

Let me know how you clone your Leo successful!!!
