I have a Dell Inspiron E1705/9400 running Kalyway Leopard 10.5.2 and when I start up, Bluetooth is off. When I go to turn it on the On checkbox is greyed out. I have restored from Time Machine backups with no success. I can start Bluetooth up using the Bluetooth File Exchange Utility. It gives me the option to turn it on or leave it off.

Anyone? This is starting to get really annoying. I use Bluetooth all the time.

This actually happened on my G4 MDD before. If I remember right (from the Apple Forums), the fix was to delete the bluetooth preferences file. Hope this helps.

Not to try and be a pain in the a*s but do you know what file that is. I looked around and couldn't seem to find it.
