I just ordered a Leadtek 8800GT 256MB card (WinFast PX8800 GT 256MB) 'cause I found it at an amazing bargain for 88$.

My question is this:
Does anyone have any experience with this card and OSX86?
Is anyone using this card with EFI-X (because I'm thinking of getting one too)?

I have the 9800 (same as 8800) but with 512Mb, it's no problem at all. I first had it running with nvinstaller, and now it's nvdarwin.
BTW: Mine is factory overclocked, and I didn't actually want that. I have the impression they do that on all their cards except the silent ones, you might want to check it.
Their name end with Extreme.

The 9800 is actually an 8800 - it's the same chip exactly. (nVidia should be sued over this)

What I'm trying to say is that you can probably use a graphic string with your card becasue it contains the same chip and memory size as Apple's 8800GT card supplied with the Mac Pro's.

Has anyone got experience with any 8800GT 256MB card or with any Leadtek card?
