Hello,

I've bought a computer with Intel Core 2 Duo proc (2,8Ghz), 4GB of memory.
After installing Windows XP (32 Bits), I switched to MAC OS X 10.5.5 (iDeneb 1.3) (solo install).
After a new install, i've installed drivers found on the cd - these ones won't work with Intel proc, so i've downloaded the latest ones on m-audio website, uninstall the older and install the new ones (as required).
Unfortunatly, this does not work properly.
I try to play on CD with iTunes, i've sound for a few secondes (sometimes a minute) and then, sound stops or drops and restarts. It does like that 4 or 5 times and then the sound stops and never restart untill i get back to the m-audio control panel and change the sync source and change it.
Does anybody encounter the same issue ?
I don't want to switch back to WinXP.__________________

M-audio firewire cards are working well with Leopard, you must use a TI (Texas Instruments) firewire chipset because intel macs are using this chipset and M-Audio drivers are programmed to works with Texas Instruments chipsets, what's your motherboard and wich firewire chipset it uses? If isn't Texas Instruments you can get troubles... solution: u must use a pci or pci-e Firewire card with TI chipset onboard.

I have TI onboard my asus and i dont have problems at all with 1.8.4.3 m-audio drivers for my FireWire 410 same with my Onyx 1620 firewire mixer/audiocard.

By the way for "AUDIO Pro" problems check this section:

I have an Asus-P5E motherboard but i don't know which firewire chipset it has onboard... I'm looking for the information over the internet.
Else, i'll test my card on a real mac book, as soon as i can.

EDIT - 09:39 : I found that the chipset is VIA 6308P, that no seems to be a TI. Maybe the problem comes from that...
