New build starting.


What are the most compatible [least amount of kexts, etc.] boards out there ?


Not going to wait for Nehalem.


Also, I'd prefer P45 board suggestions. I'm also an ASUS fan


This will be my first "from scratch" build... so dead nuts reliable board suggestions is what I need.

P45 with ASUS mean BIOS mods. That seems like a pain to me. I am huge ASUS fan as well, but I do not want to deal with BIOS mods. I went Gigabyte with my latest build. GA-EP45-XXX(x) works well. Lots of support, however if you are used to ASUS, set up is a pain. Once things are set up you should be fine.
