hey all,
I just done a converted a pc to run hackintosh. Its got a ATI Radeon x800GTO in but i cant get correct drivers that work with it and im not sure on making or editing stuff myself. So im after a PCIe graphics card that will work out of the box with all features on leopard.
I want to use it with logic 8 so id prefer to use dual screen and it needs the Quartz GL. I wouldnt mind DVI but its not a must.
Needs to be a reasonable price.

If anyone has a x800 kext that would be extremely helpful and id save some money!

Thanks

Phil

9600GT works great for me.

You'll need to follow the instructions to get it going with the new drivers but if you've got 10.5.5 installed it's a no brainer.

Mine works with QE/CI and dual monitor too. smile.gif

I'd use a card that Apple has put in stock machines (7300GT, 7600GT, 8800GT .... x1600, x1900, 2900, 3870(aftermarket)).
