Have this motherboard, insatlled 10.5.2 updated to 10.5.4, but don't have sound device. Problem was that I installed 10.5.2 with plugged USB earphones, and that works well. but can't get onboard sound device working. Tried with Kext Helper, HDA patcher, alcinject, but nothing worked for me. Please any solution. Don't want to reinstall everything, as I have many apps installed, upgraded to 10.5.4,.... everything works, except this. Tried few times before to install 10.5.2, and I got sound card, but this time I forgot to unplug USB earphones :/

Solved. I used ALC888 instead of ALC889. Now working
