Looking for parts advice on top of what i've already been reading on here which has been helpful. My goals in building the machine are:
1) $$$ which I'd like to keep under $300.
2) Compatibility/stability with the NEED for FIREWIRE (which could be with a pci option)
3) minimal software tweaking
4) quiet fans/drives
Things don't need would be an onboard or extra audio card since i have a firewire interface.
Any advice appreciated.
