Everytime I put something in my USB, it will not show up until I restart my computer! Why is this happenning and how can I fix it? PLEASE HELP! =[
By the way, I have MAC OS X Leopard 10.5.2 on an Acer Aspire 3690.
Thanx
I'm having a similar issue.
When I'm doing audio recording, I have to restart my computer in order to attach any USB inputs that weren't plugged in when I booted. However, if they're plugged in at boot, then unplugged, they are fully recognized when I plug them back in.
Last, but not least, my USB thumb drive works fine. It is recognized without being plugged in during boot.
I've only tested with audio devices and my thumb drive, since they're the only USB peripherals I have that aren't always plugged in.
Any inspirations on how this might be fixed would be wonderful.

Probably Kernel and System.kext are not match.
Possibly. I'm using the voodoo beta 1 kernel and the vanilla System.kext
