Hey ..

I just installed ideneb 1.3 ...
installation went fine..
I installed 3 times..
this time i chose all the kernels .. lolz.. and all the ATI video Drivers..
But... Same thing keeps happening..

It boots alright...
But gives me a ... black .. blank .. screen..
and sits quietly...


Its a Thinkpad T60 .. ATI Mobilty 1400


I think there is something wrong with graphics driver.. or something..
Anyone had this issue ? any clue how to fix it ?

I Have a Dell 1525 and same thing happen to me

I have an Acer Aspire 4720z that does the same thing.

Install goes fine, boots fine, get a blank blue screen, then it goes black.

The HD churns for about 20 secs then nothing, it just sits there.

I also have a 1525 and it does the same thing for me too. Ive tried installing the intel 3100 gfx drivers and used the vanilla kernal by not selecting any from the list. I have also tried with nothing selected and i get the same result every time. I install and everything looks like it went good but then once the reboot comes the apple logo will show and then it goes to a blank screen. Ive tried letting the computer fall asleep but it wakes with a black screen still. Sometimes when i boot it up and remove the power cable my 1525 wont even fall asleep even if it is left unplugged for 30+ minutes. I have installed kalyway 10.5.2 on this computer before and it had worked pretty well. Any ideas what could be causing the black screen?

don't choose video driver when you install the system!!!then it should be ok!

my t60 with x1400 has insatalled ideneb v1.3,but can't enable QE/CI!

one more problem,it dose not recognize the disc drive as superdrive so i can't run toast 9 with it!!!
