i broke my 2G iphone same way. the glass was all cracked. but it still worked.
i thought about buying a new glass for it. but from what i read, the LCD is fused onto the glass. so you would most likely end up cracking your LCD before you the the broken glass off.
Your pictures dont load up. so idk if its a 3G or a 2G. if its a 2G. unlock it and ebay it.
i got 270 for mine with a smashed screen. saved up a bit more money and bought a 16gb 3G first day it came out =]
