right then folks i see that the gods at apple have released a bumper pack of updates.. so time to update me hack i thought, so i got hold of the Zephyroth ASU-0.5 beta updater as its under reconstruction on the leo4all website...
so all excited i installed rebooted and got the lovely splash screen and then the app looked like it was going to go to the update site and get em the updates then i got this..

aghhh one step forward then one back... weird as i can connect everything else fine and if i use apple menu to get the updates they appear fine how very weird :-((

can any one help me on this one as its making me confused.com

Maybe downloading and installing the 10.5.5 update package will get you there a lot faster it seems... tongue.gif

ok i found it and took the plunge i got the modified update from here http://www.filedropper.com/modified-pkg-2008-september-15

and installed and rebooted

Did you hardcode the CPU and Ram values into your SMBIOS kext? Coz every smbios i have used just displays unknown. It doesn't really bother me, but if there was an SMBIOS that displayed them it would be nice.

no i used a piece of software called osx86 Tools Utility which i got from here: http://pcwizcomputer.com/osx86tools/

Thanks for linking to this. It worked great on my M2N-SLI Deluxe (the 10.5.5 updater). I have iDeneb, and it went from 10.5.4 to 5 without a hitch.

If there's any AMD users who don't want to path the installer themselves I took the liberty of uploading a patched installer package to that pirate place.

Your package on TPB says it fails to installed even tho parts of it do install. You should fix it and try again.
