Yesterday I was talking on the phone with my best friend.
He believes that the Samsung i900 Omnia beats the iPhone 3G in almost every single spec.
I had no idea, because all I need from a mobile is talking, so a 40 Euro one is plenty for me
What is your opinion?

Yeah, well if you really want to compare them, go to a shop and try them both out. In my opinion the intuitive interface and superior software make the iPhone the best smartphone around. You can compare the specs at GSM Arena:

I see the iPhone has a higher rez display and better battery life so your friend isn't quite correct.
