is there a way of shutting down a window machine from mac leopard?
with a window machine, you can normally send a shutdown command to other window system with the right permissions.

Run Windows in Parallels (must be networked correctly) and use this command in the command prompt:
CODE
shutdown -m \\computer-name -s -t 30
That is shutting down the computer "computer-name" with a timer of 30 seconds until shutdown...

Unless there is a third party application out there somewhere, I think the way I suggested is your only bet...

Use the OS X version of Windows RDC, and then just run the shutdown command remotely? Or use a WOL program that allows shutdowns?

Yeah I am already using RDC to connect and shutdown the server. I am just curious to find if there is a faster way, like a command line similarly to sdracer's recommendation.
