I've bought the 775 Dual 915 GL Motherboard by Asrock! I read that the Board runs great under 10.4.1! But how can i save the kext files to copy it into the Dir after Installing 10.4.5?

Would it be better to buy a SATA or an IDE HDD Drive?

You don't really have to save any kext from 10.4.1 because they are not useful for 10.4.5 but you can always just archive or copy the \System\Library\Extensions folder. 10.4.1 is marginally faster but it is not compatible with a lot of new apps.
SATA is slightly better for the Asrock 775 Dual because the board only has one IDE therefore you usually have to share that with a DVD drive (thereby slowing down the HD).

You'll need some 10.4.3 Extensions. You can find the 10.4.3 extensions folder on usual places...

where did you buy the 775 dual 915g? can't find it online anywhere anymore
