I pretend to buy one of these, to use specially the printer sharing feature.
I now have a printer connected to a PC, with that I can only print from my laptop if the PC is turned on.
I would like to know if I can print without the need of a computer turned on, if I connect the printer to Airport express.

You can with the AirPort Express. All you have to do is connect the printer's USB cable to the AirPort Express and then go into Print & Fax in Mac OS X and add the printer and if the AirPort software does not have a driver you can select one yourself. This is all presuming you are running Mac OS X Leopard.
