As I put the subject, I have a problem with my sound card on native OSX.
I have installed OSX on my notebook COMPAQ Presario B3800 which has AC97 compatible
sound card.
The vendor ID is 8086 and the device ID is 24C5
I have put this IDs in AppleAC97AudioIntelICH.kext file.
But this doesnt work with volume tab is still working.
And I found some odd thing when I check Sound tab in System Preferences.
It is that the bar in Input Level in Input tab is working while playing music in other application.
I think the signal to output is wrongfully connected to input channel.
Then how can I solve this problem? Please give me answer.
I've been trying to solve this problem for whole day long.
