So here is my recipe for success:

1)Build a brand new computer with the most compatible hardware, after reading the Wiki:

If in doubt, most of what worked last year or even 2 years ago will still work today.
If you come here with your existing hardware you are very likely to fail.

2)RTFM (Read The Fine Manual). That means, read the Wiki, again, and search in the forum, with Google if necessary.
Especially look for good tutorials. Sometimes a very short tutorial will be all you need to solve your problem.

That is all I needed to build 3 perfectly working hackintoshes. I didn't need to ask too many question, only a couple to bofors. His great threads were all I needed.

And remember, in the life you will meey hangry and "happy camper" people. If you're not asking your question quite clear like:

I hate those people they think you're sitting on his chair and you can read on his mind...

And also, ALWAYS leave inputs on your config. I can easily find "errors" on installation etc.

That's the only point I can arguing now.

Thanks for explaining what RTFM stands for. Without it, I would think something else.

I am quoting myself because I am feeling frustrated how often people come here with cheap, unsupported rubbish and then they complain that it doesn't work and nobody helps them.
OS X is not Linux, which will run even on your toaster. If you are serious about running OS X you'll buy supported hardware.

This seemed to be clear to everybody a couple of years ago.
Now we have all these "ZOMFG, why doesn't my puter work with OS X?" kids.
Hopeless.

FrankOS_Scripting, I accept your joke as such, but for people who know how to use it, Gentoo would really run on your toaster (meaning that it is extremely flexible).

First, sorry for my misspelling of your name. Shame on me!

And second, yep I know when you know more than the basic stuff and all with full "experience", you can live all your life whitout using Windows once!

This thread remember to give another try to Gentoo cause' I don't use for a while like 4 years.
