Exactly what it says. I want to make a triple boot on my pc with Iatkos 10.5.2, windows xp home and windows vista 64. How do I do it? What do I need? I have not installed Leopard before and vista 64 neither. I have vista 64 ultimate dvd, Win Xp home cd, and Iatkos leopard install latest version. I have googled and not come up with much of anything on this exact install that is made for a custom built computer, only dell's or sony's.
Thanks in advance. I am looking to do this with in the next week.

This has been asked many times, and there are many guides on this forums. Look around before posting please. Long story short I recommend installing Iatkos V2.0i first (That's not the latest version. V4.0i is, but whatever) Then XP and then Vista. As I said, there are more detailed guides around.

Thanks, that helps because you have 3 operating systems and each one can have it's own guide to setup boot systems. It makes it difficult to decide which one is best and which one is easiest. I was hoping in this thread to get a how to for people that are looking to do this. I see many different options, but none are generic installs. It's usually a specific computer like dell or sony etc.... I really wasn't sure what to start with.

Well it's hard, as not many computers (if any) are 100% working with any install. Some are more hacked than others. I recommend an intel, with more than one core, like an into core duo, and something with a brodcom wireless (if you are getting wireless). t's really best to build your own. I'd check out newegg.com as they have tons of stuff, and it's the cheapest there that you can find. I can send you my wishlist if my future hackintosh if you want. It's the same price as a referb Macbook Pro, and it blows most macs out of the water, and should be fully supported. Building a PC is much easier than people think, and most things come with directions for those that need them.

Also would be nice if there was a program that you pop in a disk and it asks how many OS systems you want to install, then you choose from multiple drop down menus numbered 1-10 which gives you the option to choose what Os's you have. After selecting the multiple OS's the program sets them up accordingly in the best order for the installation. After each OS is installed they require reboot, upon reboot the program can ask to be reinserted to install the next OS to insure that the installs go correctly. Is there anything like that? If not can anyone make it?

Not possible. That would never work because yo will not have any operating system on the computer if you start from scratch, and even if you did no way. Just install Mac and make 3 partitions for your operating systems while you are in the installer and that will give you space for all 3. Then you n=just need to figure out what bootloader(s) to use.

I just built this for a triple boot system. Used for Audio only no internet. I knew I was going to want to do it so this is what I have.

Motherboard-Abit Ip35 Pro
CPU-Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
RAM-4G Ocz Platinum DDR2 800Mhz
DVD- Lightscribe burner samsung?
HDD1-300G Maxtor
HDD2-750G Seagate
HDD3-500G Seagate
Cooling-Thermaltake Typhoon Cpu cooler
HDD fans and other case fans for cooling
I am going to upgrade to 8 gigs of Ocz ReaperX Hpc soon since I am going to be testing Vista 64 bit. I am a musician and want to go to 64 bit to access as much memory as possible to run more apps and vst's. I am basically trying to test different systems with my programs to see whats the most stable and what is more user friendly.

Sounds pretty simple. Well I was thinking the program would make partitions for each os according to the os's requirements and install each program native onto the partitions, then create a boot menu for you. But I will try the way you just mentioned. Thanks. Im off here now, time for happy hour and Tuesday tacos for a buck. Thanks again. Would you mind if I contacted you with further questions? When I start this, since you seem to know what you are doing?

Mac is the best by far for what you are looking for with logic studio, but that's just my opinion. I recommend making it all mac untill you figure some things out. I never figured out multiboot on my first hackintosh. (Still don't know, nor do I care. I'm on my Macbook Pro. lol. I will be getting back to hackintoshes when cash allows, with mac only)

That seams like a good build, I just think you should get mac in, and then ask questions about multi boot. Trust me.

Guide to triple boot XP/Vista/Mac:-

Step 1: Download Kalway Intel AMD SSE2 SSE3 10.5.1 Edition or any other from any server.

Step 2: Download Acronis Disk Director Suite 10 and above (actually 2160 build) which supports Vista Note: The version you download should support Vista.

Step 3: Now install Acronis in Vista.

Step 4: Now install OS Selector from Acronis Disk Director Suite.

Step 5: Now decide upon the Partition where u want to Install Mac OSx.

Step 6: Now goto "Disk Management" and Delete that partition Note: Before that backup the stuff in that particular drive and deleting the partition does not cause any harm and don't worry.

Step 7:Now open cmd.exe and then type "diskpart".

Step 8: Type the command "list disk" or "list disks".

Step 9: Now select the disk in which the partition was deleted.

Step 10: Now type the command below "create partition primay size=xxxxxx id=af" and press enter Note: xxxxxx = size of that deleted partition, id=af indicates that the partition shud be Mac OS Jounaled Now we have created the partition for installin Mac OS

Step 11: Now restart the system and check whether "Acronis OS Selector" starts at boot.

Step 12: Now insert the Mac OSX DVD and reboot the system and change the BIOS to boot from DVD.

Step 13: Let the mac boot up and select the language and then in the next menu click "Continue".

Step 14: There will be no destination disks displayed.

Step 15: Open "Disk Utility" from "Utilites" Menu and select partition that we converted to MAC OS in Vista and then click Erase.

Step 16: It will erase the partition and mounts the partition.

Step 17: Now select the partition and click continue.

Step 18: In the install Menu on right side few check boxes would be listed, Check the components u would like to install Note: If you have AMD check "AMD" and don't check intel If u have Intel chk "Intel" and don't check AMD If your hardware is not listed in the menu don't check as it may give problems later.

Step 19: Now go about installing, it may take about nearly 20 mins.

Step 20: Then restart the system and remove the DVD.

Step 21: Now Acronis OS selector does not list Mac now boot into Vista and open Acronis OS Selector.

Step 22: Now goto OS detection wizard and select the partition in which Mac is installed.

Step 23: It woud add "Unknown Operating System" Entry.

Step 24: Now reboot and in the OS selector Menu you will have "Unknown Operating System" entry, click on that n Mac boots

Follow these steps carefully, then you will be able to successfully install Mac in ur x86 System. Now I am using XP/Vista/Mac Triple boot with Acronis OS selector

My system configuration
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.53Ghz
Intel DG33 Motherboard
