My current build is the following:
Amd 4400+
Nvidia 8600gt
4gb ddr 667
Biostar Group Motherboard w/onboard sound
From what I have read, my components don't look to apple friendly.
I was wondering whether I could actually get Leapord working on my computer.
I think my cpu should be ok because my cousin got leapord working on his 3800+ I am mainly worried about my gpu. I read posts about 8600gt ' s not being compatible, and others saying that they were.
I am, however, building a new computer soon. I want to upgrade my gpu for gaming. I was hoping to buy a 4850/4870, but I doubt those will work. I will buy an 8800gt, 8800gts, 9800gtx, 9800gtx+, gtx 260, even a 9800gx2, which ever one is the most compatible. I was planning on buying a quad core phenom cpu, but again, I doubt that will work, so I guess I will have to go intel. Any reccomendations to which gpu/cpu to get?
And could anyone tell me whether my current components will work, and if so, do you know how to get my graphics card working?
