Well with school starting I decided to cease all game-playing to better concentrate on studying and stuff and to get back in the habit. Now I'm about 2 weeks in and bored out of my mind.... but it's all good! Warhammer is coming out on Sept. 18 and I am definately excited about it (for the first time for a game). I don't know whether it's boredom or the "fun-ness" I think the game will have. I think now I might even pre-order it to do some Open-Beta stuff, but I wasn't sure if I was the only one. The game seems kinda "kid-ish" but might also satisfy the lack of massive pvp in WoW that I wanted when I used to play it. So is anyone else here planning on playing it?

Is this the Warhammer MMO that is coming out? If so would you be so kind as to upload the Cider.app file (not the game of course) to megaupload or something so that the rest of the forum can have a go when we buy the game when it comes out.

Does it run well or is this gonna be a game we have to play in Windows?

I'll be experimenting with Cider and Crossover Games once Warhammer Online comes out.

I'm kinda bashing my head on the wall right now because those who pre-ordered the Collectors Edition (aka: not me) have access to beta right now.

It would've been nice to have a head start in trying to get it running on OSX.

So far with wine its playable. i would love to know if is in Cider.

Anyone know if it uses a launcher? If not it might run in CXG too.

It does use a launcher, I got into the beta, but haven't had time to test it with cider. Or the hard drive space actually, unless you can get cider to symlink it's windows crap to an outside folder.

They released the new trailer today and it is.... awesome. Some of the animations are a little weird/cliché but overall it is +++.
