Full Version: Problem: osx sometimes stuck while booting, and need to restart

hello and good day to all
i have installed osx using aitkos 10.5.4 on my compaq presario intel core 2 duo
everytime i on my laptop, it will stuck for the first time.
it said need to be restart and sometimes, it only show blue screen with black vertical lines
when i restart for a two or three times, it will be ok and boot into the destop.

anybody know this problem ?
and what your suggestion ?

these are the errors on my compaq presario v3000 while booting up
i just dont know, i have insert noacpi in kernel flag.
sometimes it went OK, and sometimes NOT
if it went NOT OK, these are the errors
and sometimes got bluescreen.

try replacing your AppleACPIPlatform.kext with this one!


AND

Put your specs in your signature!! that screen looks like a GMA X3100 refreshrate issue!!

The bluescreen issue is likely caused by a GMA issue, which in my experience is always solved by clearing the kernel extension cache...

do i need to copy into /System/Library/Extensions or just use osx86tools to install that .kext ?

i have replaced new appleacpiplatform.kext with new one
and installed using osx86tools
but sometimes it happen again,
that blue screen.

my graphic card is intel 950

err,
how to clear kernel extension cache ?boot with -f flag?
i have tried boot with -f,
it just the same, nothings change

im now using this new AppleACPIPlatform.kext.
sometimes it happens again.
that bluescreen...
