I´m using an ASUS A8N Motherboard with NForce4-Lan and the IDeneb 10.5.4 image.
For the Lan-chip, I use the Forcedeth-kext, which works good for surfing, but when I download files or stream Music from my NAS, the system always freezes after some seconds.
Does somebody have a solution for this problem?
By the way: Please excuse my simple English, I´m from Austria...

i have the similiar problem ,but still have a little difference.when i download something form the internet , the kernel panic will happen ,and it really gets on my nervous...

i think you should find another drive ,i am using the forcedeth-lock kext ,and mine is MCP 67/68,you can try it .maybe it works for you .GL~
