I'm just trying to figure out what the huge scroll in the Beijing Opening Ceremony was made of. My friend told me it was a projection. I think it's an LCD screen that can fold...

Suggestions?

They all say that it's an LED screen and two barrels at each end with a projector projecting on them. Very interesting IMO. smile.gif

It was a big LCD screen (said by announcers) and did anyone notice how scripted/censored the announcing sounded... twas odd. The ceremony was really cool though.... shows what you can do when you take a couple thousand people and force them to learn something precisely.... jk.

Yeah they actually announced it during the Ceremony on NBC. Looked very realistic though.
