I posted recently about the problems that I encountered in installing two ATI Radeon HD 2600XT cards but received no replies so I though that I would widen my question.
Is there anyone who has any two ATI cards working correctly with four monitors?

Just to answer my own question. I have asked this question on several forums now & as far as I can see nobody has done has got two ATI cards working together. Alsoobody has any ATI cards working with EFI strings apart from with 1900/1950s.
The message is to use Nvidia cards if you want more than one card as that is very easy to do.
